UCC’s Quercus Talented Students’ Programme aims to support and to promote “excellence in academia, sport, creative and performing arts, active citizenship and innovation/entrepreneurship for both prospective undergraduate/level 8 students and students already registered in UCC”

The Department of Film and Screen Media is proud that a number of its students have won awards under this scheme. (https://www.ucc.ie/en/quercus/about/)

We are thrilled to announce that two of our students, Elinor Dolliver and Gabrielle Ulubay, are recipients of a 2018-9 Quercus Award.

Elinor is a third year student on the BA in Film and Screen Media. Her film, Chloe, was screened at the Fastnet Film Festival, Schull in May 2018 and at the IndieCork Festival in October 2018.
