Chemistry Colloquium 2016
The 68th Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium took place in UCC this week.
As always the colloquium highlighted the outstanding research being conducted by the best and brightest of Ireland’s young chemists at third level institutions across Ireland. Well done to all students that took part and to everyone involved in making the event a success. Prize winners for oral, flash and poster presentations were as follows:
Oral Presentation Winners
Danielle Bruen (Dublin City University) and Raymond Smith (University College Dublin).
Flash Presentation Winners
Muhib Ahmed (Maynooth) and Gemma Newman (IT Tallaght)
Poster Prize Winners
1st: Ciara Griffin (University of Limerick)
2nd: Awatif Almotairy (National University of Galway)
3rd: Darragh Buckley (University College Cork)
The 69th Irish Universities Chemistry Research Colloquium will take place in Dublin City University in 2017.
