Green and Sustainable Chemistry
The School of Chemistry at University College Cork is committed to integrating green chemistry principles and practices across its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Green chemistry education equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to address pressing environmental and societal challenges while promoting responsible scientific and industrial practices.
As a signer of the Beyond Benign Green Chemistry Commitment, UCC joins an international network of third level institutions dedicated to supporting the integration education institutions green chemistry. School of Chemistry commits to Green Chemistry
The School of Chemistry at UCC is pleased to announce that it has signed up to Beyond Benign, an international initiative to incorporate the teaching of Green and sustainable chemistry at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.
