Dr Rosarii Griffin lectures in Adult Continuing Education; a Researcher at the Office of the Vice President for Teaching and Learning. She acts as Board member to the Centre for Global Development; Chairperson of University College Cork Researcher Staff Association (UCCRSA); a Director of ICoRSA and is member of UCC Research Group ISS21 Migration and Integration. Rosarii teaches Research methods and Project Management Skills. Rosarii has published five books on the area of Education for Global Development and is working on two research projects, one in relation to Capacity Building in Malawi, and the other in relation to Responsible Research Innovation as part of a Horizon 2020 project. Rosarii is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London, UK.
Rosarii has extensive experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, including Lesotho, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa and Malawi and has undertaken consultancies for Oxford, the OECD and the World Bank along with her former mentor, Dr Colin Brock. Her award winning doctorate from Oxford was in the area of 'International and Comparative Education' where she was introduced to developing world issues, and in which she has since an abiding interest and role.

Relevant Projects
Directed an Irish Aid/HEA project ‚€1.5m project in relation to teacher education capacity building between 16 Universities in Ireland and 4 in Africa (Lesotho and Uganda) (2007-2012).
Currently working in Malawi on a Capacity Building project between UCC and Mzuzu University in Northern Malawi, funded by UCC Strategic Research Funds, the Wellcome Trust/Esther Partnership and the National Forum for Teaching and Learning (2015- present).
