Autumn conferring 2015

Congratulations to Dr Matteo Pusceddu, Dr Sean Crampton, Dr Megan Straley and the late Dr. Wesley van Oeffelen who were conferred with PhDs at the College of Medicine Autumn Conferring Ceremony on Friday 30th October 2015.

Dr Gerard O'Keeffe supervised the work of Dr Sean Crampton and Dr Megan Straley. Professor John Cryan and Professor Ted Dinan Psychiatry were joint supervisors of Dr Matteo Pusceddu.  Dr Wesley van Oeffelen who died in May 2015 was supervised by Prof Cryan, Prof Dinan and Dr. Harriet Schellekens and his award was given was posthumously.

After the conferring ceremony a celebratory helium balloon release attended by colleagues and family took place in front of the Biosciences Institute, to celebrate the work, personality and life of Wesley.
