All about That Brain! at the 24 hour Relay for Life event

On February 27th-28th a team of UCC Neuroscientists, led by Dr Aideen Sullivan, took to the track on the Mardyke Arena for 24 hours, in the annual Relay for Life.
The Relay was in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, a charity that provides amazing support and information for cancer patients and their families.
The Relay event has the motto "Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back!". It is held all over the world and the UCC event is the largest College-based Relay in Europe.
Our team was called 'All About That Brain" (http://www.mycharity.ie/event/all_about_that_brain-aideens_team/) and made up of academic staff, postdocs and postgraduates:
Aideen, Yvonne, Olivia, Andre, Mutahira, Orla, Caitriona, Cara, Sarah, Andrew, Katie, Megan, Wesley, Danka, Ciaran, Jerry, Marc and Sean.
