Winner of Department Logo Competition announced

The Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience has launched their new logo. The logo was designed by Dr. Janelle Pakan from Dr. McDermott's Lab, and was chosen from a number of logos submitted by department staff and students.
In a competition to design a logo for the Department which has recently been renamed the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, entries were accepted from staff, postgrads and 4th Year Students to design a Logo.
The winning designer is Dr. Janelle Pakan from the McDermott Lab. Dr Pakan's Logo design combines the Anatomy Flame Sculpture with a Neuron, her Logo captures the dual mandate of the department in both Anatomy and Neuroscience.
2nd Prize was awarded to Ms. Elaine O’Loughlin also from the McDermott Lab and 3rd Prize was awarded to Dr. Yvonne Nolan.
Congratulations to the winners and all who took the time and effort to submit logos and ideas
