29th May 2015: Students from UCC School of Nursing and Midwifery linked with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing European Region- Postgraduate Research Student Virtual Scholarly Event. Doctoral students from Maastricht University, Netherlands; University of the West of Scotland; Swansea University, Wales; Gothenburg University, Sweden; School of Nursing & Midwifery, University College Cork presented to each other using a virtual platform.
A lively discussion followed. Such virtual events present doctoral students with a great opportunity to learn about the types of healthcare research happening across the EU and to develop networks.
