Graduation of 3 nurses who attained their Doctorates.

The School of Nursing and Midwifery celebrated the graduation of 3 nurses on Thursday 18th June 2015. The sun shone and there were smiles all round as Dr Teresa Wills, Dr Serena Fitzgerald and Dr Irene Hartigan celebrated their graduation.
Dr Wills completed her doctorate in nursing on the factors relating to motivation to change behaviour in individuals who are overweight using Health Belief Model. PhDs were awarded to Dr. Fitzgerald for her study on the application of the Theory of Planned Behaviour to the study of cancer prevention and to Dr. Hartigan who examined factors that influence physical and psychosocial adaptation post stroke.
