Description of LimeSurvey

What can you do with LimeSurvey?

Limesurvey is an interactive web application for creating, managing, and monitoring online surveys. It can create surverys in many formats for public or controlled-access usage, and the survey owner can download the responses in CSV, SPSS, and other formats.

Unlike public web offerings (eg SurveyMonkey):

  • LimeSurvey is not restricted or limited in size
  • LimeSurvey runs on a .ucc.ie address
  • LimeSurvey stores its data inside UCC
  • LimeSurvey does not include advertisements

Staff and postgraduate students doing surveys as part of their research should use this service, not an external one.
