Introducing an IT Guide for New UCC Staff

IT Services, in collaboration with HR, have launched a Staff IT guide for new UCC staff.
New to UCC? Start off on the right foot with IT Services’ new ‘Staff IT Guide’ Canvas course!
As part of a wider onboarding programme currently in development by our dedicated HR department, this course will lead you through the basics of your IT account.
Starting a new job can be both exciting and overwhelming, so our own IT Services colleagues, Katie Horgan and Caoimhe Gannon, have spent the last few months putting all the best nuggets of IT wisdom in one place, in a quick and simple format that will lead you through your first steps with your UCC staff account. The course will take you from your first log-in to confidently exploring the wide array of services now at your fingertips as a member of the UCC community.
We recognise that your experience in UCC is unique, and so the Staff IT Guide is flexible and focused. The course is self-paced, and you are free to engage with the content that best suits you and your schedule. Whether you prefer to dive straight into account set-up or first get to grips with the devices and software available, the choice is yours.
