To apply to study abroad with BComm, students are required to have achieved the grade requirements listed below  (subject to change)

1. at least 55% in their first attempt of the First University Examination in Commerce, and
2. pass all modules and obtain at least 60% in the first semester of the Second University Examination in Commerce.

• Due to demand, there is a limit on the number of BComm students permitted to study abroad each year.
• Studying abroad is not guaranteed for any student.  
• Students interested in studying outside the EU must have the following:

1. at least 60% in their first attempt of the First University Examination in Commerce, and
2. pass all modules and obtain at least 60% in the first semester of the Second University Examination in Commerce.

The European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC) consists of ten universities situated in different countries throughout Europe, representing ten different post-industrial cities.

UCC students can apply to study abroad at one of the following universities.

1. Students should ensure that the available modules align with their UCC degree requirements.
2. Please note that exchange places are limited

• Malmö University (Sweden)
• University of Lodz (Poland) 
• Ruhr University Bochum (Germany)
• University of Liège (Belgium)
• University of Zagreb (Croatia)
• University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain)
• Koc University (Istanbul, Türkiye)

Step 1

• Research UCC's partner universities and module offerings (including language of instruction).
• If you are studying a language, you must study in the country of that language

Step 2

• Attend the study abroad information session provided to your degree group (organised by your degree coordinator)

Step 3

• Submit an application as per the instructions provided during the information session (Deadline is typically semester 1 of 2nd year)

Students with a mandatory year abroad

• Your coordinator will have their own application process and deadlines.
• This information will be provided during the study abroad information sessions.
• Limited places available in each university
