Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't the video playing?

  • Please accept the cookies before playing the videos. 
  • Please try a differnt browser to play the videos.
  • If you have already rejected the cookies, you can clear the cache and cookie history and try again.

 

How do I view free events? 

  • Go to the 'Programme' Page, select the day of the event and select the event you wish to view. If the event is unticketed, you will be able to view it on the page by clicking on the button "Watch Here".
  • TICKETED: If the event is ticketed, you will need to purchase tickets ahead of time and will be sent the link via email to watch the event.
  • Events will also be available at the release time on our YouTube channel.

 

How do I buy tickets?

  • Go to the 'Programme' Page, select the day of the event and select the event you wish to purchase tickets for. On the event page, there are boxes with the event picture and text "Purchase Tickets Here". Click on the text. Below the event description there is also be a "Purchase Tickets Here" button.
  • Click on the "Purchase Tickets Here" button below the event desciption to proceed to our external ticketing system.
  • Select the amount of tickets you would like to purchase and proceed through checkout entering your information into the external ticketing system.
  • The event link will be sent to you via the email used to register on the ticketing system no less than 24 hours before the event.
  • Make sure to check your spam if it you do not see it in your inbox!
  • If you experience problems receiving the link, please email: outoforbitboxoffice@gmail
  • If you experience problems with the external ticketing system, please email: conferenceucc@ucc.ie
  • Tickets are available to purchase upto 2 hours before the broadcast time.

 

How do I donate to Out of Orbit Festival?

  • Go to the 'Programme' Page, select the day of the event and select the free event. 
  • Below the event description, there is a "Donate Here" button.
  • Click on the "Donate Here" button and proceed to our donation site.
  • If you experience problems on the donation site, please email: conferenceucc@ucc.ie

 

When are the videos available?

  • The videos will first be available at their premiere time (As listed on the timetable on the home page). 
  • All events will be available throughout the festival following their premiere.
  • Some events will be available for an extended period of time after the festival, and ticketed events will expire within two weeks (A Few Tunes) or one month (Stellar Sessions) after the festival. Stories from Cork will only be available during the festival.

The Zoom webinar isn't working, what do I do?

  • Try leaving and joining the webinar again, then: 
    • Locate the meeting ID/webinar ID from your registration email. It may appear at the end of the phone dial-in information, or it will be in the join link, just after https://zoom.us/w/
    • Sign in to the Zoom Desktop Client or Mobile App.
    • Click or tap Join a Meeting.
    • Enter the webinar ID, and click Join or tap Join Meeting.
    • If prompted, enter your name and email address, then click Join Webinar or tap Join.
