The Department of Music at University College Cork is delighted to present MA Slams 2026, a lively forum for postgraduate students to share their current research, creative practice, and emerging ideas in an open and supportive environment.

Taking place as part of the FUAIM / Senior Research Forum, this event brings together MA students from across our programmes for a series of short presentations spanning research projects, practice-based work, lecture-recitals, works in progress, and conceptual reflections.

MA Slams offers a valuable opportunity to encounter the breadth of postgraduate work currently taking shape in the department, while fostering dialogue, feedback, and intellectual exchange across different areas of musical study.
