Castro's Spies at the 65th Cork International Film Festival

Jack Joyce, MA student in Irish Writing and Film joined other postgraduate students in Film & Screen Media at an exclusive film journalism workshop as part of the 65th Cork International Film Festival.
Speakers included
Cineeuropa correspondent Davide Abbatescianni, film writer Beata Mrazikova, podcasters Cathy Cullen (
The Cinemile) and Tracey Ferguson (
Docs that Rock) and
Irish Examiner film critic and
Screen Daily Ireland correspondent Esther McCarthy.
In advance of the workshop, participants received exclusive access to one of the festival's gala screenings and submitted their own reviews for feedback from the professionals.
