IRC Success for Researchers in the School of English

Researchers awarded funding in the IRC Postgraduate and Postdoctoral schemes
The School is delighted to announce that five PhD researchers in the School of English have been awarded Irish Research Council Postgraduate Scholarships, for two and three year projects.
Yen-Chi Wu (working with Prof. Claire Connolly as Primary Supervisor)
Martin McConigley (working with Dr. Heather Laird as Primary Supervisor)
Eoin O’Callaghan (working with Prof. Lee Jenkins as Primary Supervisor)
Niamh Kehoe (working with Dr Tom Birkett as Primary Supervisor)
Niamh Prior (working with Dr Eibhear Walshe as Primary Supervisor)
Dr Adam Hanna was also awarded a two-year Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship for his project, entitled 'Literature and Legislation in Ireland: Poetic Justice', working with Dr Heather Laird.
