Digital Oral History Event. Reveal of Cork Folklore Project Online Catalogue with presentation from international digital oral historian Doug Boyd.

The international digital oral historian Doug Boyd will launch the Online Catalogue of the Cork Folklore Project, and present on ‘Accelerating Change: Oral History, Innovation, and Impact’.

The Cork Folklore Project are delighted to launch our online catalogue, which will serve as a portal to their archive of over 700 audio interviews, collected in Cork since 1996. We are excited to have Doug Boyd, an international leader in digital cultural heritage practice, to launch the catalogue and give a talk discussing the past and future of digital oral history.

Doug Boyd is an international expert on oral history, archives, and digital technologies and the Director of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral History at the University of Kentucky Libraries.
