How the College of Business and Law works

Schools and Departments liaise with the Faculties in terms of academic planning and with College bodies in relation to other matters including finance, staffing, strategic planning, research support, events support and external relations. The College is led by the Head of College who is supported by the College Executive Management Committee (CEMC) and College Council and by appointed College officers, namely, the College Financial Analyst, the College Manager (currently on secondment to the IMI), and the College HR Partner in addition to the College administrative staff.

The College hosts a College Assembly on at least two occasions during the academic year for the purposes of providing information to staff.

The CEMC/College Council interacts with the two Faculties in the College and from there the College is represented for academic purposes on the Academic Board by the Head of College.
