UCC Spring Open Day
Thu, 14 Apr 2011
Today was Spring Open Day here in University College Cork and the School of BEES was well represented in the Western Gateway building with lots of information available on BEES undergraduate courses.
Close to 6,000 Transition Year and 5th Year students from all over Munster and beyond attended as part of school groups with their Guidance Counsellors.
Each group was met by a Peer Support Leader who gave them a tour of the magnificent UCC campus and they then had time to visit the various information stands hosted by UCC staff and students.
The BEES stand was very well attended and a great level of interest was generated by the presence of our carnivorous plant collection and a variety of specimens from the Zoology Museum.
If you want to find out more about the undergraduate courses that BEES offer, see here.
