Open Day Spring 2011

BEES staff and students are currently preparing the School's information stands for the upcoming UCC Autumn Open Day.

This year, the open day takes place on Saturday 8th October and BEES have exciting plans for the big day.

The School has a great history of organising fun and informative open day events in the past - last year, the School picked up the award for best stand in the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science (SEFS).

This year, we'll again be featuring a huge array of geological specimens, skeletons, skulls, flesh-eating plants and other hands-on items. There is also a rumour that "Bertie" the Boa Constrictor snake will be making a return visit!

BEES staff and students will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about the courses that we offer and there will also be a number of timetabled introductory talks for each degree stream.

For more information on the Open Day (which is free to attend, no registration required!) you can download the open day brochure and timetable (PDF) to make the most of your day.

Looking forward to meeting you at the BEES stand!
