Respecting Your Medical Records
The UCC Student Health Department is a trusted community governed by an ethic of privacy and confidentiality.In order to provide for your care, we need to collect and keep information about you and your health in your personal medical record. Our policies are consistent with the Medical Council guidelines and the privacy principles of the Data Protection Regulations. UCC Student Health has voluntarily adopted the requirements of ‘Processing of Patient Personal Data: A Guideline for General Practitioners’.

We are delighted to announce from August 2017 anyone wishing to have an Intra-Uterine Contraceptive Device (IUCD) inserted can now avail of this service in the Student Health Department in UCC. Please speak to one of our Doctors or Nurses if you wish to explore this option.Read more
