Mohamad Saab, a final year PhD student at the School of Nursing and Midwifery presented his PhD work titled: “Developing an Interactive Intervention to Raise Men’s Awareness of Testicular Disorders and Symptoms: The E-Mat Study” at the 9th Irish Research Nurses Network conference that took place on the 9th of November in the Gibson hotel in Dublin. Mohamad won the best poster award based on the vote of the conference attendees. The poster presented was about the steps taken in order to develop an interactive intervention aimed at raising young men’s awareness of testicular disorders. Mr Eoghan Cooke, an expert in interactive media from the department of computer science in UCC, helped with the design of the intervention. Mohamad is hoping to test the intervention before the completion of his PhD studies.
