Dr Sean Kelleher graduates with a Doctorate of Nursing
Doctorate of Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC.
The beneļ¬ts for students resulting from short-term study abroad programmes are varied and widely documented. However nursing students have not availed of such opportunities in numbers that are comparable to other disciplines. Dr Sean Kelleher studied the factors that influenced nursing students intentions to study abroad as part of his Doctorate of Nursing at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, UCC. Having a greater understanding of the factors that influence students intention to study abroad will help universities to foster more interest in such opportunities in the future.
