It represents a partnership between the Department of Modern Irish, The Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, and Comharchumann Forbartha Chorca Dhuibhne.

    It was a honour to welcome the internationally acclaimed poet, Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill, back to her alma mater on 13 March 2018. She spoke to Final Year students who are studying her work and answered their question with honesty and erudition. Later that evening, she gave a public reading in the Council Room that was enjoyed by all in attendance.
