Modern Insolvency Research: The Bridge to the Future

Dr Jennifer LL Gant and Dr Paul Omar report on the annual meeting of the Younger Academics’ Network in Insolvency Law, Copenhagen. Dr Gant and Dr Omar are researchers on the JCOERE project, an EU Commission funded project researching European cross border insolvency and rescue law, currently based in the School of Law.

On the 24th of September, Dr Jennifer LL Gant opened proceedings marking the 10th anniversary of YANIL (Younger Academics Network of Insolvency Law). This marks the first PhD conference organised by YANIL, which will hopefully be the first of many such doctoral conferences and networking opportunities for younger insolvency academics.
