Third party service that will destroy old CDs, DVDs, USB pen drives or computer disks

UCC has contracted a third party service provider to ensure that the University's electronic media devices are securely erased and destroyed.

Information about the service is available at where you can submit your request online, view price information, verification and compliance process, and how it works.

TCSI will call to your office to collect the Electronic Media and if requested will remove the disk for erasure or destruction from your computer system unit.

UCC has guidelines regarding the disposal of devices containing confidential data. Please familiarise yourself with them . The service detailed above should enable the UCC community to adhere to these guidelines.
