School of English wins awards for Creative Practice projects

Two awards received from the College of Arts Creative Practice Fund
Dr Eibhear Walshe has been awarded €1,300 to support the travel and accommodation costs for the novelist Charles Foran, senior fellow at Massey College, University of Toronto (Transatlantic: Linking Creative Writing Practices in Ireland and North America ).
Prof Claire Connolly and Mel Mercier of the School of Music and Drama were awarded €6,000 in further project funding to grow the role of DUETS in supporting collaborations between creative research and practice inside and outside UCC.
