Public Talk in the Elizabeth Fort: Edmund Spenser on the Munster Plantation

Professor Andrew Hadfield (University of Sussex) will give a public talk in the grounds of the Elizabeth Fort, focusing on Edmund Spenser and his places in Cork in the late sixteenth-century. Professor Hadfield is the author of the first biography of this famous Cork-based Renaissance poet in over sixty years. 

Admission to this event - organised by the School's Dr Cian O'Mahony - is free, and the event is kindly supported by the Cork Heritage Fund.
