Awards from UCC Strategic Research Fund
Creative projects and technology research win support
The School of English was succesful in several applications to the UCC Strategic Research Fund:
- Prof Claire Connolly, co-funding for Fulbright Scholarship in Creative Writing: €8000
- Dr Orla Murphy, co-funding in support of costs for matching Funding for inaugural Fulbright TechImpact Award: €4,215
- Dr Orla Murphy, funding in support of costs for equipment (Creaform 3D handheld scanner with colour , for lead into H2020 proposal): €15,000
- Dr Jools Gilson, funding in support of costs of the broadcast quality recording/editing equipment for creative radio documentary: €15509
- Additionally, Prof Claire Connolly is a co-applicant with Mel Mercier on a successful bid for support for a further DUETS creative project award: €6000
