Colm O’Regan and Olan Lotty won best poster prizes at the European Doctorate Summer School on the ‘Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials’ held in Palanga, Lithuania between 27-31 August 2010.

Olan and Colm are currently 1st year PhD students investigating the synthesis, characterisation and assembly of semiconductor nanowires under the supervision of Dr Justin Holmes.
