GP2A Conference Prize Winner

Best Presentation and Poster at the Recent Groupement des Pharmacochimistes de l’Arc Atlantique (GP2A) Conference.

Congratulations to Michael Cahill on being awarded the prize for Best Presentation and Poster at the recent Groupement des Pharmacochimistes de l’Arc Atlantique (GP2A) conference held at Rouen, France from September 1st -2nd.

Michael gave a  presentation entitled “Synthetic Studies towards Novel Azaindolocarbazoles” and focussed on the discovery of a new potential anti-cancer agent active against the topoisomerase II enzyme. Michael is currently pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Florence McCarthy in the Department of Chemistry and ABCRF.
