The Graduate School of the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences has facilities reserved only for CACSSS postgraudate students.
The Berkeley Centre is availalble to all CACSSS Masters, MRes, MPhil, and PhD students. It's a quiet room on Q+3 with hot desks available on a first-come-first-served basis. Access is granted for 12 months, after which students must re-apply if they wish to continue using it. Click Berkeley Centre Application Form. Wandesford Quay Research Facility is available to all CACSSS doctoral students (MPhil and PhD). It is located on Wandesford Quay with 25 hot-desks available on a first-come-first served basis. There are also a limited number of secure lockers available. Access to Wandesford Quay is via student card from 8am - 10pm seven days a week (pre-registration is required).
The Wandesford Quay Research Facility is a 10 minute walk from campus and 5 minute walk to the city centre. It is adjacent to St. Finbarr’s multi-storey car park, (https://www.q-park.ie/en-gb/cities/cork/st-finbarr's/). There is some bike storage in the Facility and a bike-share station is located across the road.
If you wish to request access to the Facility, please read and sign the Wandesford Quay Contract and return it by email to Graduateschool.cacsss@ucc.ie
