BEES Praised for Open Day

The School of BEES has picked up the award for the best stand in the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science (SEFS) at the recent UCC Open Day.
UCC Open Day, took place this year on Saturday October 9th and featured stands and talks from across the disciplines in the University.
The BEES stand featured an array of geological specimens, some carnivorous plants and the undoubted star of the show “Bertie the Boa Constrictor” who made a special appearance throughout the day.
UCC will hold a Spring Open Day for Schools on Thursday 14th April 2011. More details here.
