About Us

UCC Project Centre plays a leading role in numerous key projects across the university, providing vital expertise in assisting UCC Schools and Departments at various stages of the project cycle.

Its community of experienced project managers:

• Link Change projects within UCC;
• Provides project templates and guidance on ways of working;
• Supports the scoping of major projects, in particular EIB funded initiatives;
• Ensures project experience is carried from one project to the next;
• Advises and mentors project managers or personnel responsible for change, and
• Provides a consistent framework for project and change management across UCC.

Our Services

Key services delivered by UCC Project Centre include:

• Business development: develop, structure and agree project scope, milestones, dependencies and resources.
• Programme, project and change management support: feasibility analysis and business case development, project planning, project delivery including full suite of PM Documentation, and development and implementation of a Project Governance structure.
• Project and change management frameworks: customised to individual projects and supported by templates and tools.
• Knowledge transfer via the UCC Project Centre's diversely skilled and experienced community of project managers.
• Input into UCC's transformation agenda: Support strategic development: UCC Project Centre support the implementation of the UCC Strategic Plan 2023-2028.
