Anna Power
Anna Power is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she received the Entrance Exhibition Award and completed her LLB in Law and Business. She also holds a MSc in Coastal & Marine Environments – Policy, Processes, Practice from University of Galway, and a PGDip in International Business Development from Technological University Dublin.
Anna's experience includes project and client management, particularly across the food and environmental sectors. She spent two years in the USA at Bord Bia North America, providing Irish client food and beverage companies with technical and legal supports for export and business development. Prior to joining UCC Academy, Anna was the Project Manager of an EU-funded circular economy research project based at the Environmental Research Institute.
Having originally joined UCC Academy in January 2023 in a Project Officer role, as Project Manager Anna delivers strategic management, administration, financial and communications services across a range of projects, with a focus on EU-funded research. She has significant experience leading project teams, presenting to diverse audiences, engaging with stakeholder groups and building positive relationships. Anna's clients have included Tyndall National Institute, APC Microbiome, Irish Management Institute, and the UCC School of Food and Nutritional Sciences.
