Niall Kelly holds a BA from UCC in English and Geography, as well as a MSc in Environmental Policy from UCD. He also holds a Diploma in Project Management from UCD.

Niall has spent the last 5 years of his career working in Project Management. Initially, as a Project Administrator for the Head of PMO with the National Transport Authority (NTA), Niall's key focus was project governance, process improvements, and project reporting at stakeholder and portfolio level. Niall was also a support for yearly project budget reviews and assisted with the management of project intake and the department’s project pipeline. From here, Niall progressed to a Junior Project Manager responsible for the delivery of transformative projects at a national level within the Transport Sector and also internal strategic projects. Key projects included enhancements for the Leap Top-Up Apps and accompanying marketing campaign as well as launching informational websites for the BusConnects programme.

Niall joined the UCC Academy in January 2023 as a Project Officer and is currently supporting the Integrated Research Governance project.
