Eoin Allen graduated from UCC in 2011 with a bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering and continued studying in UCC at the ERI for a further four years completing a PhD in Engineering. Eoin’s PhD was in bio-process design and bio-fuel research under Prof Jerry Murphy. After completing his PhD, Eoin progressed to the field of Project Management with OMC working to develop a bespoke Waste-To-Gas Technology in the UK. After this technology was bought out by a Chinese Investment firm RGT, Eoin continued his work in this space and various other ECF (Engineering, Construction and Finance) related projects in China and the UK for RGT. Projects including international tender and bid submissions as well a project delivery of Energy Projects such as Wind and Solar farms. Most recently, Eoin spent four years as a Project Manager for Johnson & Johnson (J&J) leading manufacturing and regulatory submission projects for J&J. Eoin is a Chartered Member of the IPMA – International Project Management.

Currently Eoin is working as Project Manager for the CoMH in UCC and HSE at a national level for the delivery of the UniCoV Project, which aims to rollout Antigen and PCR testing to UCC staff and Students.
