Michelle Cronin graduated from Griffith College Cork with Diplomas in Business Studies and Marketing, PR, Sales and Advertising. Michelle has worked in Project Management for over 10 years. Prior to joining UCC Academy, Michelle worked in a leading provider of Customer and Business Process Management (BPM) and Outsourcing (BPO) Services. In her role as Project Manager, she has worked on a variety of projects across utilities, health, government and financial services. Some projects include contact centre and business set-ups, technology deliveries and facilities projects, as well as ongoing business improvement projects. Michelle is a PRINCE2 qualified project manager, has completed PMBOK PMP training, is a PROSCI certified Change Practitioner and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

In 2017, Michelle joined the project team in UCC Academy, being appointed to work on two change management projects within the College of Medicine and Health – the Cork University Clinical Medical School at CUH (CUCMS@CUH) and Cork University Dental School and Hospital (CUDSH) new build projects. From 2019-2022, she was deployed as full time Project Manager on the CUDSH Project. Michelle has also managed process optimisation projects for the Irish Management Institute, to conduct efficiency reviews of their end to end Graduate Studies processes.
