Jessica McEvoy is a graduate of MTU, holding an Honours degree in HR Management and winning an award for highest overall mark in both Ordinary and Honours degrees. She then went on to pursue a Masters in E-Learning Design and Development, completing this in 2021.

Prior to joining UCC Academy, Jessica worked with Blizzard Entertainment, focusing on customer care, employee engagement and training new hires.  She then moved to Otonomee, a fully remote business process outsourcer, starting as a PA/Office Manager and advancing to Project Manager. Recent projects included an overhaul of Otonomee’s call-centre infrastructure, supporting the onboarding of new tools for the company, and delivery of training materials for various business units. On an ad-hoc basis, she was also responsible for design and delivery of business proposals and tender applications.

Jessica’s first project with UCC Academy was to manage the development and launch of the HEA Student Entrepreneurship Education Initiative and associated Summer School. She is currently working on two projects:  a consultation process with staff and students which will form the structure of the Global Engagement Plan for the VP Global Engagement office, and supporting the rollout of the new EPR system at Cork University Dental School and Hospital.
