Senior Footballers take on Duhallow
On Sunday , 3 October 2021, UCC senior football team take on Duhallow in the Cork County Senior Football Championship. Following on from a victory over Muskerry on Wednesday on a score line of 2.13 to 2.11, college now play for the right to advance to the quarter finals of this year’s championship
The game is on in Pairc Ui Rinn at 7.45pm and is part of a double header which has Seandun playing Imokilly in senior hurling at 6pm. College were beaten by Imokilly last Tuesday by a point , 1.21 to 1.20.
Our football game is being live streamed for free on the Irish Examiner Sport website but if you wish to go to the match then you need to log on the Cork GAA website and buy online tickets. This is the only way to enter the ground.
The management for the team for this year’s county championship are all graduates of the university , namely, Dr Con Murphy, Dr Aidan Kelleher, Liam Shorten, Michael Twomey and Finbarr Nyhan.
