UCC Hockey has had many students and graduates play for Ireland at senior level from as far back as 1909, the year the club was founded.

There are many gaps in the record of Club Captains. If you were a Club Captain or know the Club Captain from any year please email sharon.hutchinson@ucc.ie with their name and year.

The UCC Sports Star awards were first presented in 1983/84. The following are the recipients representing hockey:

The UCC Ladies Hockey Club was sanctioned by UCC Governing Body on the 13th December 1909 making it one of the oldest hockey clubs in Munster, if not the oldest!
