We want to ensure that every student has the opportunity to get involved in a UCC Sports club regardless of ability or interest. UCC Hockey News

🏑 UCC Hockey – Munster Senior League Update & Weekend Fixtures Last Weekend RecapOnly one of our teams was in action last weekend, with the Men’s team taking to the pitch in a thrilling encounter against Ashton. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Kyran Bryan finding the back of the net for UCC. Despite several strong goal-scoring opportunities, the team was unlucky not to come away with the win. The performance, however, was full of promise and gives great hope for the season ahead.

UCC Announces Sports Scholars 2025

UCC has officially announced its Sports Scholarship Recipients for the 2025/26 academic year. This year’s programme highlights talented student athletes across a diverse range of sports, including athletics, basketball, hockey, rowing, rugby, soccer, swimming, GAA, and golf. There were 103 students awarded. The scholarship recipients hail from ten counties—Cork, Dublin, Kilkenny, Kerry, Mayo, Laois, Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick, and Offaly—and are recognised for their outstanding athletic ability and unwavering commitment to sport.

If, as a student, you are injured during a recognised UCC Sports club activity, then you must complete and return the 'Student Personal Accident Form' within 7 days.
