UCC Italian students sweep the board in NUI Scholarship competition
We are delighted to announce that UCC students have swept the board in the NUI's Dr Henry Hutchinson Stewart Literary Scholarship in Italian, 2011. James Moss, Bart O’Beirne and Martina Viscardi, all currently studying Italian in their Second Year, were awarded the Scholarship, Second Prize and Third Prize respectively for their performance in the First Year Examination in Italian. This is a remarkable achievement by the three students and we are very proud of them.
UCC students have won the Scholarship on eight out of thirteen occasions since it was first awarded on the basis of performance in the respective First-Year Examination, as adjudicated by an External Examiner.
