Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarships for Irish citizens The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers Irish citizens scholarships to assist them to study or carry out research for short and long-term periods at Italian universities or centres of excellence.

These scholarships allow Irish students the opportunity to study at some of the world’s most prestigious universities and to experience life in an unmatched cultural environment.

These awards entail: -

• Financial support to offset the costs of studying in Italy (€800 per month);

• Exoneration from university fees for degree courses (not individual modules);

• Insurance coverage for the terms of the scholarship.

Applications must be completed on-line and submitted by Wednesday 31 March 2010. Please note that you must first register in order to submit an application.
