UCC student awarded distinguished intern in New York

UCC's Government and Political Science student, Danny Sheehy, awarded distinguished intern award at New York State Assembly

The BSc Government and Political Science degree programme includes a 14-week work placement. Students undertake a work placement in Year 3 of the degree, at home or abroad. Danny completed his internship through our partner SUNY at the New York State Assembly. 

As part of Danny's New York State Assembly Internship, Danny was awarded the distinguished intern award. 

Work Placement Manager, Dearbhail O'Callaghan, Department of Government and Politics UCC, works with our partner, SUNY, to place UCC students at the New York State Assembly Internship
