Staff from UCC’s International Office attend the 75th NAFSA annual conference in Washington DC
International Office staff met with partner institutions from across the United States and the globe.
The 75th NAFSA annual conference took place in Washington DC recently. Staff from UCC’s International Office attended the conference where they had the opportunity to meet with partner institutions from across the United States and the globe.
In addition, to coincide with the conference, the US-Ireland Alliance organised a reception for the class of 2024 Mitchell Scholars who will study in Ireland in the 2023-2024 academic year. Professor Ed Shinnick, Chair, North American Regional Working Group, Marita Foster, Deputy Director, International Office and Maggie Cardosi, UCC North American Officer represented UCC at the reception and met with Mitchell scholars Michael Frim and Neelesh Mupparapu who will pursue their postgraduate studies at UCC. Michael will be enrolled in the MA in Celtic Civilisation while Neelesh will pursue an MPH.
