UCC Community Gardens Workshop, 31st March

UCC Community Gardens is a food-growing initiative that respects agro-ecological techniques, promotes DIY problem solving and is open to all.
***SOLD OUT***
Hi All
We have a treat for you.
Garden work requires a diverse range of skills. Some of us had the chance to get a solid grounding in the wonders of wood work young. Others were too busy reading books, kicking balls or playing kiss chase to begin their DIY journey and are now left quivering with fear at the thought of building a bench, hooking up a propagation shelf or constructing a compost heap.
This can change! Specifically with the help of the amazing Benchspace, a voluntary worker-of-wonders organisation in Cork City. David and Co. are going to donate five hours of their valuable time to teach six of us lucky ones the basics of working with wood.
We will be building window boxes, a work bench and whatever else strikes us on the day and learning how to use basic hand tools. FB: https://www.facebook.com/events/2267019503360249/.
