Erasmus Work Placement
The Erasmus+ programme enables students to spend a placement/traineeship period
abroad as part of a degree course.
Student 'placement' is an alternative term to the widely used term 'traineeship' or 'internship'.
Learn more: Student Work Placement Information Guide
- Students should contact their UCC programme coordinator or the placement officer within their UCC department regarding placements.
- Please note that the International Office does not arrange student placements or internships.
- Once a placement abroad has been secured, students should contact the International Office to discuss Erasmus funding by emailing studyabroad@ucc.ie.
- As this can be a lengthy process, students are advised to contact the International Office as early as possible.
- Erasmus funding is only available for placements in countries within the European Union.
