Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Courses

Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Courses

We have English language programmes for both academic and administrative staff.

English language development courses for 2025/2026

The English language courses we offer for administrative (and academic) staff range in those with the main objective of improving participants’ overall English language competence and courses which target specific areas related to participants’ professional needs.

Similar to the closed-group courses we offer for academic staff, we also deliver specific-to-needs English language courses for administrative staff. Should you require a closed-group course to meet your administrative staff’s objectives, please complete this questionnaire.

Participants in our English for Work and Life (EWAL) programmes will develop their English language skills for use in a variety of real-life contexts, and acquire effective strategies to extend their learning beyond the course. Joining our Effective English Communication in a University Workplace course will allow for specific-to-your-professional-needs development in English language. The opportunity to be in a multi-cultural environment allows for a rich learning experience.

Teacher Development courses for 2026

We offer courses for academic staff who wish to refresh and/or develop their teaching and lecturing skills in English. While the focus of these courses is on English language instruction, very often this input can be applied for enhancing teaching skills in other modern foreign languages.

We also offer specific-to-needs of institutions courses. We carefully establish from diagnostic profiling the needs of your academic staff and design and deliver courses to target those identified requirements. Should you require a closed-group course to meet your academic staff objectives, please complete this questionnaire.

Educators will leave our teacher development courses equipped with actionable insights, tools, and strategies to elevate their teaching practice and enhance teaching and learning. They will also benefit from the sharing of experience and expertise with like-minded professionals. Opportunity is also provided for cross-cultural collaboration with peers from different institutions and countries.

These courses are offered during our Summer School. Participants can take part in our organised social programme twice a week, which introduces them to the beauty and culture of Ireland. This might mean enjoying the beauty of the Wild Atlantic Way or joining a traditional Irish music session in a pub with new friends from class.
