Article on the poetry of BA in English graduand Ali Bracken Ziad

The article, 'Son of a soldier battling with expression', features in today's Irish Examiner.
BA in English graduand Ali Bracken Ziad is the inaugural Eoin Murray Memorial Scholar in Creative Writing. The scholarship is funded by English student Eoin Murray’s family and friends, and administrated by the College of Arts and School of English. Ali has been mentored by poet and Adjunct Professor of Creative Writing Bernard O’Donoghue. The 2018 Eoin Murray Memorial evening will take place this Saturday, 25 August, from 8pm in the Long Valley, Winthrop Street. Ali will be reading at this event, and will also read at the School of English welcome event, in September.
